Guardianship And Conservatorship Law
If your loved one does not have proper legal protection (such as from a power of
attorney) and becomes incapacitated due to an injury, health condition, or age, it often
becomes necessary to petition the Orphan’s Court to appoint a guardian for your loved
one. The guardian’s duties may include handling all medical and financial decisions for
your loved one. The Orphan’s Court will require the guardian to report his or her
guardianship activities to the Court and to keep the Orphan’s Court updated about the
health and welfare of your loved one.
At the Law Firm of DiOrio & Sereni, LLP, we have the experience and expertise to
assist you with representing you before the Orphan’s Court and with fulfilling your legal
duties as a guardian.
